The Madrid Stew Route is the best plan to combat the cold weather in Madrid and it will be holding its sixteenth edition this year from February to March 2026. It is a gastronomic route that will visit many restaurants in Madrid city and others in the community of Madrid, offering the possibility to sample our typical dish.
The Madrid Stew Route visits establishments throughout the region. The 2025 edition featured the participation of 41 restaurants, including establishments from the centre of Madrid, such as Malacatín, Los Arcos de Ponzano, Pancipelao, Nuevo Horno de Santa Teresa, El Mordisco, El Café de la Ópera, La Gran Tasca, Manolo 1934, El Reloj de Harry & Sally, Posada del León de Oro, La Bola, Casa Carola, Antonio Sánchez Tavern, Casa Coronel, Los Galayos, Puerta Bisagra, Taberna La Daniela, Trastoque de Harvard, El Botánico, La Rayúa, Asador Llopis, La Matuca 1827, Casa Maravillas, Casa Larry, La Cruzada and Rte Donde Siempre.
Diners will enjoy a stew, generally served in three stages (soup, chick peas and vegetables, and meats). The Madrid Stew Route is the ideal plan to savour our most typical dish and combat the cold with spoon dishes.
