With its traditional appearance and set in one of Madrid's most authentic neighbourhoods, La Gran Tasca has been serving its famous cocido madrileño since 1942. In February 2026, their star dish was recognised as the Best Cocido Madrileño stew in 2025 at the 15th Cocido Madrileño Route.
La Gran Tasca is a spacious restaurant, spread over two floors. It can accommodate up to 109 people in three dining areas, as well as private rooms, where they serve their famous stew every day.
In addition to its famous Cocido Madrileño, La Gran Tasca's menu features other specialities typical of Madrid and Spanish cuisine. There are also set menus for groups.
