Open since 1934, Manolo is one of those traditional meeting points for friends and families wishing to spend some time together while enjoying some of their exquisite dishes. Thanks to its location in the Moncloa district, for decades it has been one of the favourite spots for college students from the different schools in Ciudad Universitaria. But it also has a regular clientele, which comes by to taste their traditional home-style cuisine, with specialties such as the Madrilenian-style callos stew or the Galician soup. The house recommends trying the octopus and their daily fresh fish. The restaurant has classical and cosy décor, reminiscent of the 1920s.
