  • MADRID FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

You're guaranteed to have fun at any of Madrid's leisure parks! They're perfect for laughing, screaming and shaking off any bad vibes. What's great is that there's something for all tastes: from Parque de atracciones amusement park to the Zoo-Aquarium, both of which are located in the grounds of the city's biggest park, Casa de Campo.

If you're interested in animals, be sure to visit Faunia park where you'll see how creatures from all over the planet live. But if Superman and Batman are more your thing, don't miss Warner Theme Park Madrid. In the summer months, the Aquopolis water park is the place to be! And with more than 10,000 animals from 20 different aquatic ecosystems, be sure to check out Atlantis Aquarium.

RATÓN PÉREZ

Museo Casa del Ratón Pérez

Above all, I recommend a visit to my house, the Ratón Pérez house museum. It’s at No. 8 Calle del Arenal, just a few minutes from the Royal Palace. Did you know that I know the palace like the back of my hand? That's right, many years ago, when...

Nevermind, I tell you all about it in my guide ‘Ratón Pérez’s Madrid’, where you can find out more about me and many of my favourite spots in the city. I would love for you to see it and to check out my top routes around Madrid! If you're interested, you can download the guide and keep a lookout for the two surprises at the end!

First, a quiz that will test everything you have learnt about Madrid. If you pass, you'll get an "Expert on Madrid" certificate! Then, there's a section that you can colour in whenever you feel like you want to disconnect and let your imagination run wild. Enjoy!

ACCOMMODATION AND DINING

These hotels will welcome you in style!

You will eat well here and have a great time

Try fabulous flavours in Madrid’s great ice-cream parlours.

Madrileños love their chocolate, especially when it's served piping hot with a few crunchy churros to dip into it.

A FUN GUIDE FOR KIDS

  • A kid's guide to the Spanish capital led by a little mouse, Ratón Pérez, who's Spain's equivalent to the Tooth Fairy. The book comes packed with puzzles and pages to draw on and colour in, and teaches children lots of fun facts about Madrid.
