Cycling is a healthy, ecological way to enjoy Madrid, allowing you to see the city at your own pace while you do a little exercise and enjoy the city's wonderful climate. There are a number of places where you can hire bikes, especially around parks and near major tourist attractions.

An interesting, practical, simple and eco-friendly bike hire scheme is BiciMAD. It has a total 1,560 e-bikes for rent, 3,126 docks and 123 docking stations featuring touch screens and the latest technology.
