As a prelude to the Suma Flamenca Festival, the biggest flamenco event in Madrid, the Sala Verde (Green Hall) at Teatros del Canal will host the sixth edition of Young Suma Flamenca from 24 to 27 September 2026. It is a consolidated event within the Festival that brings together the best young performers of flamenco song, dance and guitar in concert, such as Jesús de la Estrella from Toledo, Yaiza Trigo and Álvaro Moreno from Seville, Yolanda Mozos and Niño Ruven from Cordoba, Aitana Rousseau from Almeria, Ana Almagro from Malaga, Esmeralda Rancapino and Luis Montoya “Chanquita” from Cadiz and Laura Reyes, Eleazar Cerreduela and Rober el Moreno from Madrid.
The initiative is aimed at artists under the age of 30, born after 31 December 1995, and it is supported by the Community of Madrid, which provides a first-class technical and production team to ensure the best sound and lighting in each gala. Therefore, flamenco is shown in its most authentic and professional form, reflecting the institutional commitment to the genre’s generational succession.
This latest edition will include performers under the age of 30 in the guitar, dance and song disciplines. The four galas will feature young talents from Cordoba, Cadiz, Seville, Malaga, Toledo, Almeria and Madrid.
The first gala will be on 24 September and will include three performances: El Niño Ruven, from Cordoba, will be responsible for opening the festival with his bassoon concert, accompanied on the guitar by José “El Macareno” and the flamenco dancer, Víctor Mayol. Then, it will be the turn of the flamenco singer from Madrid, Laura Reyes, with Antonio Patrocinio on the flamenco guitar; and the gala will be rounded off with the flamenco dancer from Malaga, Ana Almagro, accompanied by the singers, Antonio Campos and José L. Hernández, the guitarist, Marcos de Silvia and La Tacha marking the beat.
The second gala will include performances by Jesús de la Estrella from Toledo and his guitar in concert; the flamenco singer from Jerez, Luis Montoya “Chanquita”, with the guitarist, Manuel del Salado and with Diego Montoya and Manuel Salado marking the beat; and to round off the evening, the flamenco dancer from Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville) Yaiza Trigo will take to the stage accompanied by the flamenco singers, Miguel Lavi and Moi de Morón, and the guitarist Daniel Mejía “El Carqui”.
The third gala will kick off with the flamenco guitarist from Cordoba, Yolanda Mozos, who will be followed by the flamenco singer from Madrid, Eleazar Correduela, accompanied by the guitarist, Joni Jiménez. Finally, Rober el Moreno from Madrid will dance to the rhythm of David Cerreduel’s guitar and Lucky Losada’s percussion, alongside the flamenco singers, Antonio Moreno “El Cancu” and José del Calli
The fourth and final gala on Sunday 27 September will feature the concert by the guitarist, Álvaro Moreno; who will be followed by the flamenco singer from Cadiz, Esmeralda Rancapino, alongside the guitarist Antonio Higuero, Naim Real marking the beat and Ramón Torres on the box; and the flamenco dancer from Almeria Aitana Rousseau, alongside the singers, Eleazar Cerreduela and José del Calli, with El Peli as the guitarist.
