As a prelude to the Suma Flamenca festival, the biggest flamenco event in Madrid, the Sala Verde at the Teatros del Canal will host the fifth edition of Suma Flamenca Joven 2025 from 25 to 28 September in a well-established event that brings together the best young performers of flamenco song and guitar in concert. The aim of this edition is to maintain the artistic level and public support and continue to be a platform to launch new careers.
The initiative is aimed at artists under the age of 30, born after 31 December 1994, and it is supported by the Community of Madrid, which provides a first-class technical and production team to ensure the best sound and lighting in each gala. Therefore, flamenco is shown in its most authentic and professional form, reflecting the institutional commitment to the genre’s generational succession.
Each day follows the same structure: a guitar performance, a singing performance and a dance performance. Young artists like Reyes Carrasco, David Fernández, Lole de los Reyes, Irene Morales, Esperanza Garrido, Pablo Heredia, Nerea Carrasco, Celia Romero, Yoel Vargas, José Luis Kaele, Andjela Misic and Juan Anguita will be participating. All of the galas will last for around an hour and a half.
