From 7 to 11 January, the Sala Negra at Teatros del Canal will host a creation directed by the writer from Catalonia, Alejandro Palomas, and the choreographer, Chevi Muraday. The show includes texts by Alejandro Palomas and choreography by Chevi Muraday.
It is a production by the Losdedae Company from Madrid, one of the most important companies on the national scene, with more than 25 years of experience, since it was created by Chevi Muraday in 1997.
After many years wanting to collaborate with each other and create something together, that moment has finally come. Alejandro Palomas and Chevi Muraday are presenting us with this dance show that combines dance and poetry and which will cover “the country of colour, childhood, mothers, children, friends returning and emotion in the vein”, according to Alejandro.
On stage, two men meet again by chance in the park where they played as children. They are now in their fifties and have not been in touch for decades. The reunion coincides with the death of one of their mothers and will bring them face to face with the memory of a childhood friendship that was cut short by an abrupt and violent end.
It is a mutual exercise of memories and honesty that leads these two men - who will be the children they once were and their own mothers at the same time - to face a new step that life brings them.
