The acclaimed Film Symphony Orchestra (FSO) musical ensemble is coming to the Sala Sinfónica (Symphony Hall) at the National Music Auditorium on 31 October to present its most chilling show, in which it will perform a selection of songs from the best horror films.
This latest concert, Dracul, will take the audience to the most sinister corners of suspense and horror films, performing songs from films like Psycho, Dracula, Casper, Jaws, Alien, Frankenstein, The Omen, Coco, The Addams Family, Gremlins and The Nightmare Before Christmas, among many others.
This is a perfect show to experience a spooky Halloween by the Film Symphony Orchestra, an ensemble founded in 2011 by its conductor Constantino Martínez-Orts. It is made up of more than 80 musicians and exclusively performs concerts of film music or artists closely linked to the seventh art. Its aim is to bring symphony music to a younger audience through the universal common thread of film.
