LAP57 Madrid Race Week will be held on 12 September at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Campus Cantoblanco), with a first edition that brings a new open air concept of electronic music in a large format. The festival will have a space for 20,000 people and is presented as one of the big electronic events of Race Week.
Marco Carola, ANOTR and PAWSA head the initial line-up for LAP57, which will round off its line-up with another headliner. The festival positions electronic music at the centre of an open air experience for big audiences.
Marco Carola, born in Naples in 1975, is an Italian DJ and electronic musician associated with minimal techno and tech house, who has been active since the 1990s. PAWSA, the artistic name of David Esekhile, is a British DJ and producer based in London who is specialised in tech house and co-founder of the Solid Grooves record label.
ANOTR is a Dutch electronic music duo from Amsterdam, made up of the DJs and producers Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney. They are renowned internationally for their flowing, full-groove style that combines house, disco, minimal and funk.
With this first edition, LAP57 Madrid Race Week kicks off as a major electronic music festival, with a line-up that will bring together leading names from the international scene in an open-air format.
