Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Campus Cantoblanco)

The Autonomous University of Madrid, founded in 1968, is located on the Cantoblanco Campus, to the north of Madrid. It is one of the six public universities in the Community of Madrid along with the Complutense University, the Carlos III University, the Polytechnic University, the Alcalá University and the King Juan Carlos University. 

This university has seven faculties: Science, Law, Philosophy and Arts, Psychology, Medicine (off the Cantoblanco Campus), Economics and Business Studies, Teacher Training and Education and the Higher Polytechnic School, in addition to four University Schools. It also has numerous research institutes and associated Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) centres.
