One of the standout events on Madrid’s autumn cultural calendar is the reopening of the Sorolla Museum. Following an extensive expansion and refurbishment, the former home of the celebrated “painter of light” will once again open its doors to offer visitors a unique experience. The museum’s return adds to the appeal of exploring the city at this time of year, when major exhibitions—some of them immersive—bring together art and history in compelling ways.
