The young composer of Belgian, Egyptian and Lebanese origin is embarking on a new tour that will include a performance at La Riviera on 23rd September. At this concert, Tamino will be performing tracks from his third album Every Dawn’s a Mountain, which was released in March 2025.
Tamino is the name of the project fronted by musician Tamino Moharam Fouad, which takes its name from the main character of Mozart's opera 'The Magic Flute'. He is a very promising young artist who surprised audiences in June 2017 with a song titled Habibi, and in 2018 with the single Indigo Night, a collaboration with Radiohead's bassist, Colin Greenwood.
After the release of the albums Amir (2018) and Sahar (2022), the artist is now presenting his third album titled Every Dawn’s a Mountain, which was released in March 2025. This album marks a new stage in his career, with songs that reflect his personal and musical journey, including collaborations such as Mitski on the song Sanctuary.
Tamino continues to explore his distinctive sound, blending his unmistakable three-octave voice with the guitar and the Arabic oud, a combination that has earned him recognition from media such as NPR Music, which describes him as having "one of the most extraordinary voices of today". After a successful sold-out tour, the Belgian-Egyptian singer is preparing for a tour across Europe and the United Kingdom, establishing himself as one of the most unique artists in music today.
