The Las Tablas Flamenco House presents its summer programme from 1 August to 6 September, which will feature young talents and established artists in shows with meticulous staging.
Located at the junction between Calle Bailén and Plaza de España, close to the Sabatini Gardens, Las Tablas is the flamenco house that boasts the largest flamenco stage in Madrid, with a modern design for the comfort of the artists and the audience alike. The flamenco house has also been a pioneer in the use of technical theatre resources for its shows, while maintaining the freshness and spontaneity of this genre.
The August programme kicks off with the show Frecuencia Sur by Clara Gutiérrez and Felipe Clivio accompanied on the guitar by Juan José Ramos and Jacob Quirós on vocals.
Rafael Peral and Marisa Adame present Aliento Flamenco, a free-flowing journey through flamenco soundscapes, where the strength of fire and the gentleness of the wind are combined in the same beat. Singing, guitar and dancing are turned into a dance of passion and freedom.
Carlos Rivero and Marta Meléndez will also take the stage this month with Ecos Flamencos, an unforgettable experience that will enable the soul of flamenco to be felt in every heartbeat through dance, music and song.
José Antonio Fernández “El Tachu” and Fuensanta Blanco present Pulso, an encounter between tradition and the present where the beat marks the rhythm of a vivid, intense and personal experience.
The leading flamenco dancer, Ángeles Gabaldón will perform Sonidos del Flamenco, a vibrant show that celebrates the essence of flamenco through music, dance and passion. Her performances take the audience to the roots of this artistic tradition.
Finally, Raquel Guillén and Jesús Hinojosa / Christian Martin present Encuentro Flamenco, a free-flowing flight through flamenco soundscapes. Song, guitar and verse are united on a journey through rhythms and flamenco.
