Swan Lake - Kiev Ballet

The Kiev Ballet will visit the most prestigious stages in Spain to perform the classic ballet by Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake, considered to be one of the most beautiful and iconic ballets of all times. It is an unforgettable artistic experience that can be enjoyed at the Teatro Lope de Vega on 2, 7, 8, 16, 21 and 22 February 2026. 

This high quality production combines technique, appeal and emotion. The beauty of the stage, the costumes and the music immerse the audience in a world of fantasy. Swan Lake tells the love story between Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who has been transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer, Rothbart. The play features a series of romantic and dramatic scenes, including a third act in which a fierce battle breaks out between Siegfried and Rothbart.

Live music is an important part of the show and is performed by an orchestra of musicians who fill the theatre with their emotional sound. The music features melancholic and emotional themes that linger in the mind of the spectator.

The Kiev Ballet is based at the International Centre for Culture and Arts in Kiev, Ukraine. Over the last few years, it has travelled all over the world performing major classical titles as well as original choreographies. Shows such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Giselle, Carmen or Scheherazade are part of its usual repertoire.
