Every June, Arganda del Rey (a town located 35 kilometres from Madrid) becomes the capital of electronic music. A Summer Story festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary in style on 19 and 20 June 2026, welcoming some of the biggest artists and DJs of the genre, such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Korolova and Third Party.
The 2026 edition has already confirmed the presence of renowned artists, such as the French DJ, remixer, and record producer, David Guetta, who will be at the festival on 20 June. Considered to be one of the most influential DJs and producers in worldwide electronic music, he has mastered the art of mixing house and EDM with commercial sounds, collaborating with artists like Rihanna, Sia, Usher and Black Eyed Peas, enabling him to reach a diverse audience and top the charts for years. The DJ will be back in Madrid after an absence of 10 years to feature in a major show at A Summer Story.
The Dutch DJ, remixer, and record producer, Armin van Buuren, who is one of the most renowned DJs and producers in electronic music, especially in the trance genre, will be appearing on 19 June. He is known for his melodic and emotional style, which has consolidated him as a key figure on the worldwide electronic scene. His radio show, A State of Trance is heard by millions of people every week and has been instrumental in spreading and keeping trance alive over the years.
They will be joined by other artists, such as the Ukrainian music producer and DJ, Olga Korolova, known professionally as Korolova, who mainly produces melodic house and techno music; and Third Party, the British DJ duo made up of Jonnie Macaire and Harry Bass, who stand out in the progressive house genre. They are known for their singles, Everyday of My Life and the Lions in the Wild collaboration with the Dutch DJ, Martin Garrix.
A Summer Story came about to bring together fans of electronic music in a single place. The event will be held at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, a venue that has already held major shows like Rock In Rio and is well connected to Madrid with special shuttles on festival days. A Summer Story also provides a camping area so that fans will be able to enjoy the musical experience to the full.
