The South Courtyard (Patio Sur) of the Conde Duque Cultural Centre will host a new edition of the Soundset Festival on 12 and 13 June. This innovative festival is transforming this year and will take on a new format that maintains its essence but expands the experience and moves outdoors with a programme that invites dancing and socialising.
This series presents bold, cutting-edge electronic music from a holistic perspective, combining different artistic disciplines that are interlinked with its universe. This is a meeting point for people seeking to share and experiment with new ideas to rethink the electronic scene.
On Friday 12 June, the line-up kicks off with DJ Python Back to Back with Loidis (Huerco S), followed by the rhythmic pressure of RHR’s new Brazilian sounds and a unique opportunity to see in Madrid a legend not only of dubstep but also of contemporary electronic music, such as MALA.
On 13 June, the daring electronic sounds of Carne_kddo, from the Lágrima Madrid group, hyper-pop and bass of Tracey, while Nick León presents a live performance of his collection of bangers of the latest mutations in contemporary Latin sounds.
The Soundset Festival will close with a brilliant DJ capable of mixing angular post-punk, soundsystem bass, hypnotic techno, vintage and sensual house, as well as pneumatic footwork, combining a psychedelic and immersive narrative that CCL explores with tension and subtle euphoria.
