On 10 November, Capitol Gran Vía will host a single performance of this show based on the rich tradition of Irish dance. It is a show that brings together all the essence and folklore of Ireland and forms part of the programme for the Summum Concert Series.
The show features a fusion of traditional Irish dance, live music and theatrical elements in order to offer the audience a vibrant and exciting experience. The production showcases the energy and skill of the dancers, who are the Irish and world champions and perform classic steps from their homeland that are synchronised and often fast-paced.
Furthermore, the music includes ancient Irish melodies and is performed on Irish folk instruments, such as the fiddle, flute, bagpipes and bodhran (Irish drum). This is all performed with the state-of-the-art stage technology.
The show has toured the world and earned a great reputation among dance lovers and those interested in Irish culture. It has also helped to spread and preserve the heritage of Irish dance. It has been enjoyed by seven million people in 50 countries.
