Plaza Matadero Madrid, Navidad de encuentro

As part of the Madrid, Christmas Meeting initiative, Plaza de Matadero Madrid will become an exceptional stage hosting  music, culture and fun from 20 December to 4 January 2026. This programme offers performances for all the family in the mornings and concerts in a warm and cosy atmosphere as night falls.

Plaza Matadero will once more be turned into a stage for all ages. At midday, family events will be held, designed to be enjoyed in company and to share the magic of this time of year with cheerful, danceable and sometimes mischievous activities, which are always educational.

As night falls, the stage is filled with contemporary sounds ranging from jazz to soul, funk to flamenco, constantly giving a nod to the festive season in the repertoire to create the perfect soundtrack for winter in Madrid.

This edition focuses on local talent, featuring bands and artists from the Madrid scene, ranging from up-and-coming artists to established names. It is a diverse, accessible, and vibrant event that celebrates live music and cultural exchange.
