Paradisum. Recirquel Cirque Danse

The Hungarian choreographer and director, Bence Vági will present a show that combines modern dance and circus arts to reflect on the rebirth of life, purification and harmony in the universe at the Conde Duque Cultural Centre on 20 and 21 December.

In this show, in which verbal language disappears, the body becomes the only means of communication while movement becomes the common language of all creatures emerging from the ruins of the world.

The show offers a visual and sensory experience that explores the natural and changing forces that shape the “fabric of life”. From this organic framework, the main characters seek to reach the soul of the world through scenes that evoke birth, purification, awakening and rituals.

Vági, an international reference in contemporary circus dance, creates an ethereal language of movement that expresses humanity's essential concerns: the desire to start over, the search for purity and the possibility of reconciliation with nature.

It is an allegory of the end and the beginning, a journey that turns destruction into hope. In this context, stillness gives way to movement, death to the brightness of life, and chaos to a new harmony. The creatures of the reborn paradise move between what is sacred and earthly, questioning whether humanity will be capable of preserving its sinless soul and finding happiness in the communion with the world.
