The first edition of the international independent festival of culinary experiences, Ñam Ñam Festival, will be held at Paseo Puente del Rey (Madrid Río) on 9 and 10 May. This initiative brings gastronomy to the street in an innovative format with an extensive program that includes cooking demonstrations, music, workshops and talks, among many other activities.
Backed by the Spainmedia publishing house with the support of Madrid City Council, it is a project that seeks gastronomic, commercial and cultural promotion with an innovative format that prioritises creativity and experiences, including cooking demonstrations, music, workshops and talks, among other activities. Ñam Ñam is defined as an international independent festival of culinary experiences.
This festival has its own DNA and will feature different areas: a (VIP) guest lounge, an infinite table, the Ñam Ñam bar with food and drink and the T's de Oro, where the different experiences will take place. The unique programme includes activities, dinners, monologues and live podcasts.
With its 45 municipal markets, Madrid is at the European forefront of this kind of space, maintaining its role as leader in the sale of fresh and natural locally sourced products. They promote small-scale local production and are committed to a sustainable and environmentally friendly model, fostering a close relationship with residents whilst continuing to adapt to new demands and modernisation processes.
Madrid’s markets are meeting places for innovation and promoting culinary talent from the local area. The soul of this collaboration is first rate culinary proposals arising from Madrid’s Markets and obviously there is a place for them at the Ñam Ñam Festival.
