IFEMA MADRID will host the first edition of the Mayka Festival on 14 February to mark a before and after for true fans of house and techno music. This event celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Cocoon record label and includes performances by artists like Adam Beyer and Joris Voorn, two of the most influential names on the international scene.
Mayka Festival seeks to become the perfect event for fans of electronic music and offer an authentic experience without any distractions. With a strict ‘no phone’ policy and through unique designs, the festival focuses on the music, the connection between people and the pure desire to dance.
The festival includes the collaboration of one of the sector’s most important record labels, such as Cocoon, hence guaranteeing the presence of leading artists on the circuit who will be appearing at the Mayka Festival.
The line-up of confirmed artists for this first edition includes two of the most influential names in the genre, such as the Swedish techno DJ and producer, Adam Beyer, founder of the Drumcode Records label, which rose to fame in the 1990s; and the Dutch DJ, Joris Voorn, who currently resides in Amsterdam. They will be joined by renowned artists, such as Avalon Emerson, Josh Wink and Palms Trax, as well as other emerging talents, such as the DJ from Barcelona, Nahoomie.
