One of the world’s most important musical festivals will be holding its eleventh edition at the Iberdrola Music space in Villaverde in July 2027 (dates to be confirmed). This edition will feature some of renowned groups and artists on the music scene. The previous edition in 2026 included Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, Kings of Leon, and The Black Crowes, among others.
In 2027, Mad Cool will once again feature a programme over four days, reaffirming its commitment to an ambitious proposal in terms of music and experiences. The chosen venue, Iberdrola Music, which has hosted the festival since 2023, stands out for its capacity, accessibility, and infrastructure, which have enabled the event to grow without compromising the production quality that characterises it.
Mad Cool Festival 2026 brought its tenth-anniversary celebrations to a close with a fourth day worthy of such a special edition. A total of 48,000 people enjoyed an unforgettable finale featuring performances from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, David Byrne, Pulp and The Black Crowes, alongside many other artists. Rock and more classic sounds took centre stage during a final night that lived up to expectations and provided the perfect ending to four days of live music attended by more than 200,000 people.
Throughout its history, Mad Cool Festival has featured performances by major artists, such as The Cure, Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Green Day, The Who, Lauryn Hill and Foo Fighters. Since opening its doors for the first time in 2016, it has become one of the most popular events in Europe and won the NME Award for Best Line-up of the Year 2018 awarded by the British magazine NME, one of the most prestigious in the music sector.
