Juan Uslé. That Ship on the Mountain

The Reina Sofía Museum will present an exhibition from 25 November to 20 April 2026 that is devoted to the work of the artist Juan Uslé, the first to be held in the museum since the Open Rooms exhibition twenty years ago. 

On this occasion, Juan Uslé (Santander, 1954) presents a major retrospective exhibition that delves into his career spanning more than forty years. The ten rooms in the museum that will host this exhibition are not organised in chronological order but relate the comings and goings, feedback and forecasting.

This exhibition provides a new insight into the work of an artist who has held major international retrospective exhibitions in recent years and is considered to be one of the most prominent Spanish artists in recent decades.
