The singer-songwriter from La Mancha, Israel Fernández will give a performance at the Teatro Circo Price on 3 February 2026 as part of the new edition of the cycle Inverfest. In this concert, he will present the songs from his latest flamenco fusion project, De oro y marfil.
Born in Toledo in 1989, Israel Fernández is a flamenco singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who has specialised in combining the most traditional flamenco with newer styles of this art. He comes from a gypsy family settled in Corral de Almaguer (Toledo), but of Andalusian origins. He soon stood out as a child prodigy and started to appear on TV competitions until he released his first album, Naranjas sobre la nieve, at the age of 18.
This album paved the way for him to tour the United States, Chile, Russia and Spain. His following LPs were Con hilo de oro fino in 2014 and Universo pastora in 2018. Together with Diego del Morao, he has created one of the best flamenco duos of today.
His most admired artists include Tomás Pavón, Carbonerillo, Manuel Escacena and, especially, Niña de los Peines, who are accompanied by more contemporary artists, such as Camarón de la Isla, Enrique Morente or the Rubios dynasty.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with great representatives of flamenco, such as Raimundo Amador, José Mercé, Arcángel, Rocío Molina or Pastora Galván, as well as international artists of the likes of Macy Gray or Erykah Badhu.
In 2020, he released Amor, an album for which he won the Best Flamenco Album at the Odeón Awards 2021 and he was nominated for a Latin Grammy for the Best Flamenco Album 2021. Now he is back with his latest flamenco fusion project, El Gallo Azul.
