The prestigious comedy group, Yllana, returns to the stage from Wednesday to Sunday from 3 to 26 April 2026 at the Gran Teatro Pavón, with a fun satire in which it unravels the problems of ecology and the survival of the planet and the human being.
Following on from successful performances like Pagagnini, ¡Splash! or The Opera Locos (Max Award for the Best Musical 2019), Yllana has developed another comedy production for all the family in which four actors put themselves in the shoes of countless characters, ranging from politicians to penguins, to take on one of today’s hop topics. Four ecologists fight against a powerful multi-national company that has no scruples through a series of actions: protests, sit-ins, floating placards, etc.
It is questions like global warming, the use of plastics, rampant consumerism, macro-farms, animal cruelty and the possible extinction of the human race that are the starting point of this latest theatrical madness, full of sharp and biting humour.
Yllana is a company that was set up in 1991 and is specialised in gestural theatre. Its performances have become great pieces of Spanish silent humour. Some of the most acclaimed are 666, Olimplaff or Action Man, among others. Its productions have been performed in 44 countries and have been seen by more than one and a half million spectators.
It has also created numerous sketches and advertising spots for television and it works in the field of distribution of international artists, such as Leo Bassi, Elliot and Joseph Collard.
Throughout its history, it has won numerous awards, such as the Max Award for Performing Arts 2012 for the Best Musical Show for Avenue Q, the Max Award for Performing Arts 2010 for the Best Children’s Show for Zoo or the Award for the Best Show at the Fringe Festival 2008 (Edinburgh-United Kingdom) for Pagagnini.
