The Film Symphony Orchestra presents the best plan to celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day with a special concert on 14 February in the Symphony Hall (Sala Sinfónica) at the National Music Auditorium. It is a recital in which the best love themes from the history of film can be heard.
The audience will be moved with the performance of a selection of the most romantic melodies that have appeared on the soundtracks of films like Titanic, The Bodyguard, Love Actually, La La Land, Out of Africa, Gone with the Wind, Cinema Paradiso and Moulin Rouge, among others.
Musical passion and romanticism by the most film buff orchestra under the baton of the conductor, Constantino Martínez-Orts. The Film Symphony Orchestra is made up of more than 80 professional musicians devoted exclusively to film music concerts or composers closely related to the genre.
Its shows, which are usually accompanied by the screening of scenes from the films, aim to bring symphony music to the general public through such a universal driving thread as film.
