Circo Price at Christmas

To mark the arrival of Christmas, the Teatro Circo Price is yet again hosting its classic Christmas production from 24 November to 6 January under the name of La casa del árbol (The Tree House). This is a special production that has become one of the classic events in the Madrid agenda. 

It is a show for all the family directed by Emiliano Sánchez-Alessi, with performances around a gigantic magic tree inside an imaginary forest, where guests will come from all corners of the planet, ranging from Mexico to Japan, as well as Brazil or Scotland, to explain the customs of this period of the year to adults and children alike through music, beautiful images and circus numbers. The main characters are Sarah and José, two friends who share the tree house.  

The entertaining and fun Circo Price at Christmas universe has been performed since 2006 and each year, it surprises with a new production that has been exclusively created for this time of the year. It has become an event that is not to be missed in the city, proof of which are the more than 80,000 spectators who come to see these unique shows each year.

The artist, Coté Velázquez has created this year's poster with the modelling of the children's figures that appear in it, creating a unique image of the tree house, an evocation between what is real and imaginary.
