This autumn, the Teatro Calderón is hosting the world première in Spanish of the funniest and most successful musical comedy of the past decade: The Book Of Mormon. It can be seen from 6 October 2023, with performances from Tuesday to Sunday.
Having been a sell-out on Broadway and in London for more than ten years, bringing together more than 9 million spectators, this show has won nine Tony Awards, four Olivier Awards (including Best Musical).
By the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, composer of such hits as Coco and Frozen, this production is a must-see for lovers of great musicals.
It has a great soundtrack performed live by eight musicians, joined by a cast made up of 33 actors with a high level of acting and dancing. All this makes The Book Of Mormon one of the most surprising and entertaining musicals ever.
Produced by SOM Produce, this musical has been adapted and directed by David Serrano, with the musical direction by Joan Miquel Pérez and the choreographies have been created by Iker Carrera.
