Central de Diseño (Matadero)

Set up in Nave 6 at Matadero Madrid since 2007, the Central de Diseño is a space to raise awareness, promote and develop the design culture in its different forms. Its three main areas of activity are exhibitions and events, training and services for designers and companies.

It is spread over 1600 m², divided into different areas for exhibitions, runways, congresses, pop-up stores, conventions, etc., and areas available for training activities, conferences, presentations, show rooms and smaller events. La Central has a technical floor, projection media, sound systems, free internet access and seats for more than 100 people.

Its spaces are: the Gallery, the Hall of Columns, Ensanche and the Cube Room. All types of events can be organised in each of them.

The Madrid Design Foundation of the Madrid Association of  Designers (DIMAD) is responsible for this space which is devoted solely to design,  where all types of projects related to graphic, industrial and interior design are generated.
