The World’s Fifth Best Ice Cream Parlour 2024 has had an establishment in Madrid since summer 2023, located in the heart of Madrid in Calle del Carmen, between Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Callao. Founded in 2006 by Venetian Maurizio Melani, this home-made Italian ice cream parlour has four other branches in Valencia.
Véneta has also won other awards, such as the World’s Third Best Ice Cream Parlour, Best Ice Cream in Spain 2013 and 2015 with the ‘Grandma's Biscuit’ flavour and the Best Ice Cream in Europe in 2019.
It offers up to 40 different flavours, which can be eaten in a tub, cone or accompanying other sweets, such as waffles or crepes. Coffee, chocolate and soft drinks are also served, along with a wide variety of cakes and pastries.
To fully enjoy all these sweets, the ice cream parlour has several tables inside.
