Fundación Arquitectura COAM and Madrid's Official College of Architects, in collaboration with Madrid City Council and the Regional Government, will host the 23rd edition of International Architecture Week from 2 to 13 October. Over 14 days, the event will invite architecture enthusiasts to explore Madrid's diverse neighbourhoods through themed routes and building tours. The extensive programme features around 300 free activities, including exhibitions, conferences, urban itineraries, building visits and engaging activities for children. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
The 2025 edition featured Portugal as its guest country. Highlights included an exhibition devoted to the work of Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, as well as celebrations marking the 125th anniversary of the birth of architect Luis Gutiérrez Soto, with an exhibition in El Retiro Park and several talks exploring his life and work.
