Movistar Madrid Half Marathon 2027

The Madrid Half Marathon, a World Athletics Label Road Race included in the official calendar of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), which features a beautiful route past city landmarks, starts and finish on Paseo de Recoletos, next to the iconic National Library. Registration is already open for the 2027 edition.

The 2026 race, which saw almost 24,000 participants cross the finish line, was won by the Kenyan Levy Kibet Chematot (1:00:49) and his compatriot Ludwina Chepngetich (1:08:30). The race's all-time records are held in the men’s category by Ronald Kiprotich, who clocked 59:38 in 2021, and in the women's category by Winfridah Moraa, who finished in 1:07:22 in 2022.

For those looking for a more accessible distance, the 5k Carrera ProFuturo race will once again run alongside the main event.
