Valencia’s Medusa festival is continuing to expand its reach. On 5 December 2026, it will bring its music and magic to Madrid – specifically to the IFEMA MADRID exhibition centre – with a 100 per cent winter-themed line-up: Blizzard: The City of Ice. A scaled-down edition, for a maximum of 9,000 people, but retaining its famous hallmarks: a stage decorated in the Tomorrowland style and an iconic visual production featuring fireworks, drones, lasers and special effects.
This Madrid edition, nicknamed Blizzard: The City of Ice, will offer the same visual spectacle that has earned it numerous awards. In 2025, the festival was named the best festival in Spain at the National Electronic Music Awards–Vicious Music Awards. In 2026, the Iberian Festival Awards, regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of live music, recognised its creativity in stage design with the National Winner award.
With the necessary adjustments made to suit the indoor venue, the Madrid audience will be able to enjoy the Tomorrowland-style stage design, the special effects and the spectacular light and laser show which go viral at the festival every summer.
