From 25 April to 28 June, Fever Hub Madrid | Immersive Experiences is putting on an experience that transports visitors back in time to the golden age of Ancient Egypt. An immersive expedition combining history, technology and emotion to explore the Great Pyramid of Giza like never before.
The exhibition allows you to explore the depths of the iconic pyramids, learning about the goddess Bastet, observing the mummification process, and much more. And with the VR headsets provided, you’ll feel like you’re travelling through time.
With The Horizon of Khufu, you can journey back thousands of years to the heart of Ancient Egypt and uncover the secrets of one of the seven wonders of the world through an innovative concept: the immersive expedition. Explore the Great Pyramid of Giza just as it was over 4500 years ago. Walk along its mysterious passageways, venture into the Queen's Chamber, and try to find the goddess Bastet in this unique experience in Madrid.
This immersive expedition has been designed to be as faithful and accurate as possible. After years of research and field data collection, in collaboration with Peter Der Manuelian, professor of Egyptology, and his team at the Giza Project, Harvard University, the experience has now come to life. It aims to offer a data-driven experience, combining architecture, science and history, for an authentic fully-immersive encounter.
Duration: 45-minute immersive walking experience, but expect to spend around one hour in total there.
Recommended age 10+.
Accessibility: the venue is accessible for wheelchair users
