Located in Lavapiés, Kaicao is a cacao lab and store where chocolate is hand-made following the Bean to bar movement, which consists of making chocolate by controlling each step of production. Each week, we also offer the opportunity to participate in tours around the store and lab to discover how the chocolate sold there is created. Tours are available in Spanish and in English.
Furthermore, Kaicao is one of the few chocolate labs to sweeten its creations using dates instead of sugar, making them both healthy and delicious.
Its bars, sweets and drinks are the result of innovation and creativity. Ethically traded fine aroma cocoa beans are used whilst maintaining a close relationship with the farmers responsible for cultivating them.
The establishment has a small space to taste its products.
