This ice cream company was founded in 1982 in Buenos Aires. Its founder, Italian by birth and passionate about ice cream, decided to create a new concept of ice cream parlour based on making ice cream daily using the best ingredients on the market to create unmistakable flavour and texture. In 2003, the company opened its first shop in Spain, in Malaga, before later opening a second branch in Calle Fuencarral in Madrid.
Kalúa’s priority is to offer the best service both in terms of its customers and product quality. Currently, it has more than 40 flavours of homemade ice cream.
In addition to ice cream, they serve smoothies, granitas, horchata tiger nut milk, milkshakes, ice cream cakes, mousses...
Kalúa is the first ice cream shop in Spain to receive the “Q” mark for Tourism Quality awarded by the Spanish Institute of Tourism Quality (ICTE).
It also has a home delivery service.
Kalúa has another shop in Calle Ibiza, 21.
