Latest edition of the Maudes Festival featuring electronic and techno music will be held on Saturday 24 and 31 May at the Enrique Tierno Galván Park. This year’s edition of the themed and immersive musical experience that combines electronic music with culture and art features artists of the genre like Hugel, Purple Disco Machine, Gorgon City, Karretero, Sam Divine and Alexander Som, among others.
This open air musical festival brings together art, commitment, culture and techno electronic music, offering a great retro-futurist industrial experience that is unique in Madrid, with a wide range of activities and curiosities over two days. This latest edition of the festival has a major themed scenario that revolves around Mother Nature this year.
The festival’s first event is scheduled for Saturday 24 May, under the name of Welcome to the Chapter IV: Soul of Mother Nature (Act I), the tale of Mother Nature. On this day, Purple Disco Machine will be on stage, the project founded in 2009 whose sound is described by some as Deep Funk; the British DJ and record producer Sam Divine; the Spanish DJ, producer and remixer David Penn, known internationally on the house music scene; the DJ and producer Alexander Som; DJ Velada; and DJ Viso.
Saturday 31 May will be the festival’s second event: Welcome to the Chapter IV: Soul of Mother Nature (Act II). On this occasion, the line-up is headed by the French DJ, record producer and remixer, Hugel who rose to international fame for the first time thanks to his remix of Bella Ciao which went viral, and his original song, Morenita which contributed to popularising the Latin house genre. He will be joined by Aaron Sevilla, Les Castizos, Raul Vidal, Tom Enzy and Duorum!
In addition to musical performances, the festival will also offer other related activities, such as experience stands with leading brands, games, activities and a social commitment and environmental area to support equality and diversity with its responsible #behappier policies.
