The bar and café of the Matadero cultural centre, located near Madrid Río, maintains the industrial look of the beginning of the 20th century that characterises the rest of the complex. With high ceilings and bare brick walls that connect to the cinema through big picture windows, the steelwork stands out – especially a large old oven.
The large open space has an area for tables and chairs, and another made up of seats in stands. Originally from Argentina, the managers offer some of the most typical products from their country, such as empanadas (meat pies). At the entrance to the establishment, we can also enjoy an open-air terrace.
