The artist that is currently all the rage has announced her latest world tour, LUX TOUR 2026, which will include four dates in Madrid, scheduled for 30 March and 1, 3 and 4 April 2026 at the Movistar Arena. The winner of eleven Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards will present the tracks from her latest album, LUX, which has been her most successful commercial breakthrough to date thanks to songs like Berghain and La Perla.
The singer and songwriter from Catalonia, Rosalía, has revolutionised the music scene as the Spanish artist who has won the most awards from the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences for a single album, obtaining eleven Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards in 2020 and 2023 for the Best Alternative Album and the Latin Rock Album for El Mal Querer and Motomami, respectively. She has also participated in major festivals worldwide, such as Coachella, Primavera Sound, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, among others.
The innovative fusion of classic flamenco with R&B and electronic rhythms, along with the artist’s nod to the performing arts, have turned the artist from Catalonia into one of the leading artists on the international music scene. Worldwide fame came with the release of her second album, El Mal Querer (2018). Her first single, Malamente, was nominated for a Latin Grammy in five categories, winning two awards for Best Urban Fusion/Performance and Best Alternative Song. This song was followed by other hits like Pienso En Tu Mirá, a portrait of gender violence, Di Mi Nombre and Bagdad.
In 2022, she released her third album, Motomami, which was well received and has been considered to be one of the most ambitious albums of the decade thanks to songs like La Fama, the first single on the album, inspired by a bachata, Hentai and Chicken Teriyaki.
On this latest tour, Rosalía will present her fourth studio album, LUX (2025), originally recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under the orders of Daníel Bjarnason. The album includes an outstanding list of collaborators, such as Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, as well as Escolanía de Montserrat Boy’s Choir and the Chamber Choir from the Palau de la Música in Barcelona.
LUX is her most ambitious album to date and presents a unique vision that combines classical composition, innovation in global pop and spiritual intimacy, which can be seen in songs like Berghain, La Perla, Reliquia and Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti. This album went straight to Number 1 in Spotify’s Global Top Albums Chart and broke the platform’s streaming records for a Spanish-speaking female artist.
