One of the biggest music festivals in the world is set to celebrate its eighth edition from 10th to 12th July 2025 at the venue Iberdrola Music . This year’s incredible line-up features the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Muse , Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Alanis Morissette, Weezer, Nine Inch Nails, Benson Boone, Justice, Iggy Pop, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Arde Bogotá, Residente, Glass Animals, and St. Vincent. Plus, this year marks the launch of Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool, a brand new event bringing the best of electronic music to the festival on Sunday, 13th July.

Since its inception in 2016, Mad Cool has hosted performances from some of the biggest names in music, including The Cure, Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Green Day, The Who, Lauryn Hill and Foo Fighters. It has quickly become one of Europe's most popular events and was even awarded the 2018 Award for Best Line-Up in 2018 by the prestigious British music magazine NME.
The 2025 edition promises a fantastic line-up headlined by American singer Olivia Rodrigo . A three-time Grammy winner, who burst onto the scene with her record-breaking hit Drivers License , Olivia will perform songs from her second studio album Guts (2023), which features hits like Vampire or Get Him Back!
Returning to the festival after their 2022 performance is the English rock band, Muse (to replace Kings of Leon ). Their appearance at Mad Cool Festival 2025 will be part of their European tour as an exclusive date in Spain. Renowned worldwide for their electrifying live shows and state-of-the-art production, Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard promise a performance not to be missed.
Joining them on the Thursday will be legendary American artist, Iggy Pop —often referred to as the "Godfather of Punk"—who will deliver a set packed with classic tracks from his impressive career spanning over five decades. Iconic singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette will also be back in Madrid to celebrate her landmark album, Jagged Little Pill , released in 1995, which marked the 1990s and an entire generation with hits like You Oughta Know.
Another exciting addition to the line-up is Thirty Seconds to Mars , the American alternative rock band led by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. They will be performing fan favourites like A Beautiful Lie and From Yesterday , along with tracks from their latest studio album It's the End of the World But It's a Beautiful Day (2023), which includes Stuck and Seasons.
Also on the bill is Grammy-nominated American singer Gracie Abrams , known for her hit That's So True ; alternative rock legends Weezer , making their long-awaited return to Madrid after more than 20 years with old favourites like Island in the Sun and Happy Together ; American folk-pop sensation Noah Kahan ; and singer-songwriter Benson Boone , who rose to fame thanks to songs like Beautiful Things . The impressive line-up continues with artists such as Arde Bogotá, Residente, Bad Nerves, Geordie Greep, Chloé Caillet, Kingfishr, Justice, Glass Animals, St. Vincent, Jet and Kaiser Chiefs .
This year's festival will also feature Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool, an exciting new addition that will bring top-notch electronic music to the festival on Sunday, 13th July!
