On 21 December, STARLITE Madrid will be treating audiences to an evening full of Caribbean flavour and rhythm, courtesy of Puerto Rican salsa singer Gilberto Santa Rosa. A festive show packed with energy and passion, which audiences can enjoy at the IFEMA MADRID fairground.
Gilberto Santa Rosa, known as the Gentleman of Salsa, is a genuine icon on the Latin music scene with over 30 million records sold and a career spanning more than 50 years. With hits like 'El último adiós' and 'Vivir sin ella', his presence on stage is always captivating.
Thanks to his musical elegance and style, he is one of the most prominent figures in popular music. His numerous awards are testament to his significance in the music industry and the power of his performances. His many accolades include an ASCAP Latin Heritage Award, 6 Latin GRAMMY® awards and one GRAMMY®.
His performance as part of the STARLITE series is sure to include many of his big hits such as Que alguien me diga, Vivir sin ella and Conciencia, which have cemented him as one of the most important figures in Latin music.
