ULTIMATUM - Led Silhouette

The Led Silhouette Company, led by Jon López & Martxel Rodríguez, will be performing a modern dance show at the Centro Danza Matadero (CDM) - Nave 11 on 30 and 31 October, which explores a world marked by social, political and ecological collapse.

The production combines dance, theatre and film to build a theatrical landscape in which conflict is portrayed through the bodies and the relationships established between them.   On stage, the body becomes something that is possessed, defended and disputed.

The production arises from a question: How far does our responsibility go when we are aware that something is breaking but we decide not to take action? The piece observes this tension between action and paralysis, between control and loss, while examining what is considered to be ours and the limits we are willing to establish in order to protect it.

The stage is turned into a space for confrontation.  The bodies insist, tire, fall and get up again.  In this movement, concepts such as possession, inheritance, the desire for control or ambition emerge. These elements penetrate individual and joint decisions and reveal how much our boundaries also depend on our relationships with others.

Led Silhouette, a company that won the Critical Eye Dance Award in 2024, reveals how collapse does not appear as a distant threat, but as a reality that is already part of our daily life. Faced with this normality, the company invites us to stop and take a look at the fragility of a system that seems to be crumbling while we continue to act as if it were still intact.
