The American alternative rock band, made up of the brothers, Jared and Shannon Leto, will embark on A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War world tour, in which they will review their two most iconic albums in an unforgettable night. This tour will be stopping off at the Movistar Arena on 8 April 2027, where the group’s former member, Tomo Miličević, will also be present.
Thirty Seconds to Mars was initially set up in 1998 by Jared Leto (vocals, guitar), Matt Wachter (bass, synthesizer) and Shannon Leto (drums), and over time has become one of the most important groups on today’s music scene.
The band's debut album, 30 Seconds to Mars, was released in 2002 and is described as a conceptual album inspired by bands like Pink Floyd and Tool. In 2005, they released their second album, A Beautiful Lie, which earned them recognition from the public and critics alike, thanks to songs like Attack, A Beautiful Lie, The Kill (Bury Me) or From Yesterday, their first single to reach number one on the Billboard charts and whose video clip was the first by an American rock band to be filmed entirely in the Forbidden City in the People's Republic of China.
This album was followed by: This Is War (2009), with hits like Kings & Queens and Closer to the Edge; Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013), in which the single Up in the Air stands out; America (2018); and It's the End of the World But It's a Beautiful Day (2023), the latest album to date.
This band has a successful career under its belt, having accumulated 80 awards out of approximately 145 nominations. The most notable awards include four MTV Europe Music Awards, as well as entering the Guinness Book of Records for the most concerts in a single tour, more than 300 on its last tour.
Now, the group made up of Jared and Shannon Leto is embarking on another world tour, which includes the return of the former band member, Tomo Miličević, who announced his departure from the band in 2018, having been a member since 2002. This is a very special tour that pays tribute to albums like A Beautiful Lie (2005) and This Is War (2009), which includes big hits, such as The Kill, From Yesterday, Kings and Queens, This Is War and Closer to the Edge, among others.
