The multi-platinum winning pop-punk band from Montreal will be visiting Madrid as part of its Bigger Than You Think! tour to celebrate 25 years of pure pop-punk energy. The concert will be at the Palacio Vistalegre Arena on 27 October 2026, where its greatest hits can be heard, accompanied by the British pop-punk band, Neck Deep as the support group.
Simple Plan’s return to Spain coincides with its 25th anniversary, portrayed in a new documentary on Amazon Prime, The Kids in the Crowd. The group’s history dates back to 1999 when the band was created by the musicians, Pierre Bouvier, Jeff Stinco, Sébastien Lefebvre and Chuck Comeau. Its greatest hits include I'm Just a Kid, Perfect, Welcome to My Life and When I'm Gone.
Having sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, the Canadian group released its first album in 2002, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls, which topped the charts around half the world and even obtained a double platinum disc. Its second volume, Still Not Getting Any, was released two years later and also went platinum, whilst its third album, Simple Plan (2008) went to the Top 5 and Top 10 of the charts in most western countries, thanks to songs like When I'm Gone, Your Love Is A Lie and Save You.
In 2011, Get Your Heart On! Was released, followed by Taking One for the Team, its fifth studio album in 2016. Its latest album to date is Harder Than It Looks (2022), the first album released without a record label and without the participation of David Desrosiers. It includes songs like The Antidote, Ruin My Life with Deryck Whibley from Sum 41, Congratulations and Wake Me Up (When This Nightmare's Over).
