Roberto Lorente

The flamenco singer Roberto Lorente will be performing on 20 September at Teatro Flamenco Madrid to present his latest show, Los Rincones de Mi Alma. It is an intimate journey through tradition and his own way of feeling flamenco.

The artist will be accompanied on stage by Manuel Cazas and Manolín García on the guitar, Jorge Fernández on percussion with clapping by Pablo Fraile and Noé Barroso. The flamenco singer will be guided by the dialogue with the musicians, creating a unique concert in each performance.

Roberto Lorente began his flamenco career at the age of 20, performing in Madrid's leading flamenco houses, such as Casa Patas, El Corral de la Morería or Las Carboneras. He has accompanied dancers like Tomás de Madrid, with whom he toured Ukraine and Russia, Juan Andrés Maya, Domingo Ortega, Rafael Martos, Mercedes Ruiz, Antonio Granjero, Manuel Liñán and María Borrul, among others.  

Since 2013, he has been a specialist teacher at the Higher Dance Conservatory and has worked with the Ballet of Andalusia on several occasions.  Lorente has a magical style that inspires passion for the flamenco art and has succeeded in connecting with Spanish and American audiences thanks to his tours of the United States.
