The Golf Open de España, one of the most popular and traditional tournaments in Europe, will hold its next edition at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid country club from 8 to 11 October 2026. As part of the European Tour, this tournament will once again place Madrid in the spotlight, drawing golf professionals and fans to a country where the sport enjoys deep roots.
In 2019, the venue of the Open de España moved to the historic Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, where, as in 2018, victory went to Spanish golfing star Jon Rahm, in a tournament that was once again a major hit with the public.
Organised by Madrid Trophy Promotion (MTP), the promoters of the Mutua Madrid Tennis Open, this tournament has yet again become a first-rate event with international repercussion, uniting the sports and social aspects. The winner in 2025 was Marco Penge from England.
