Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes

Pavilion 2 at IFEMA MADRID is hosting an official exhibition celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Marvel universe, from comic book illustrations to the highest grossing films on the big screen and much more.

This exhibition takes you on a journey through the 85 years of Marvel’s history, bringing together more than 200 original pieces in one space, many of them exclusive and iconic. The pavilion is divided into immersive and interactive galleries where you can learn more about the history of iconic superheroes such as Spider-Man and Captain Marvel, among others. There will be themed decorations and life-size statues of characters such as the Hulk and over 60 drawings and artworks including Spider-Man drawings by Steve Ditko.

There will also be the original costumes on display for characters such as Iron Man (2008), The Scarlet Witch and Vision (WandaVision, 2021) or Khamala Khan (Ms.Marvel, 2022) and iconic accessories including Captain America’s shield from the film Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor’s hammer from Thor: The Dark World (2013) and the Walkman worn by the character Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (2018).

Visitors will also be able to see historical documents including  American writer and comic book editor Stan Lee’s only script for the Amazing Spider-Man. The exhibition will also feature merchandise and collectables, with items ranging from the 1960s to the present.
