Since 2017, this forum has been a key part of Madrid Pride’s LGBTQ+ programme, offering a space for dialogue, reflection, and advocacy focused on the areas of everyday life where the LGBTQ+ community continue to face discrimination and inequality. The 2027 Madrid Summit will take place on 2 July (date to be confirmed) at the offices of the European Parliament and the European Commission in Spain.
Madrid Pride will once again host the International Human Rights Conference – the Madrid Summit, MADO’s flagship political and social forum. Activists, policymakers, legal experts, and journalists from across Europe will gather to discuss the challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community amid growing democratic backsliding, disinformation, and hate speech.
A day of dialogue, alliances and international commitment that, from the institutional heart of Madrid, brings together activists, political representatives and organizations from around the world to analyze the state of the rights of the collective and chart the way forward.
