On 26 October, Compañía Coarte will be putting on two performances (one in English and one in Spanish) of their reinterpretation of this classic work of literature. The show is for the whole family and will be at Teatro Sanpol.
The Little Prince is one of those rare texts that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, because it touches the heart for the same or perhaps different reasons. This latest interpretation has been devised to introduce young children to this wonderful story through a visual retelling.
The story speaks of a journey, of friendship, of the need we have for others, and of all the good that comes from being different. But above all, it speaks about childhood as something that should never be lost, about the freedom of humanity to choose their own path, even if we make mistakes, and about innocence.
